recorded: circa 1966

one of marc bolan’s first solo recordings, this song features john paul jones, who would later become the bassist for the legendary led zeppelin. when bolan was with the band john’s children, they used to play this song at gigs. it was finally released on 1974’s the beginning of doves, but without marc’s “R-rated” intro, which is included here.
